APPLY
How to Apply Your Lashes
Start with the application method listed on your product page. Strip lashes, clusters, pre-glued styles, lower lashes, and magnetic styles use different routines.
Before you begin
- Wash and dry your hands.
- Make sure your eyelids and natural lashes are clean and dry.
- Check the product page for the correct adhesive or application system.
- Use clean tools and work slowly near the eye area.
Strip lashes
- Measure. Rest the band along your lash line without adhesive. If it is too long, trim a small amount from the outer edge.
- Apply adhesive. Add a thin, even layer of compatible lash adhesive to the band. Follow the adhesive instructions for how long to wait before placement.
- Place. Look slightly downward and set the band just above your natural lash line, starting near the center.
- Adjust. Press the inner and outer corners into place, then gently secure the full band.
Lash clusters
- Plan your map before applying bond so you know where each length will sit.
- Use only the compatible bond or adhesive named for your cluster system.
- Place one cluster at a time, keeping the cluster away from the waterline and following the product directions for placement above or below the natural lashes.
- If your system includes a seal, apply it only as directed.
Cluster wear time and removal method depend on the exact bond system. Do not assume every cluster product is designed for extended wear.
Lower lashes
Work in small sections and use the application method listed on the product page. Keep adhesive and lash fibers away from the waterline. Pair lower lashes with a lighter upper style for subtle definition or a fuller upper style for a more graphic finish.
Pre-glued styles
Dorisue pre-glued styles are coming soon. When they launch, follow the instructions included with that specific product. Do not add liquid adhesive unless the product directions say it is compatible.
Magnetic styles
Use magnetic lashes only with the compatible magnetic liner or magnetic system listed for that product. Allow liner to set according to its directions before placing the lash.
Removal
Do not pull sharply. Loosen the lash using the removal method recommended for its adhesive system, then lift it away gently. Continue with the Care Guide before storing reusable lashes.
If irritation occurs, stop using the product and remove it carefully.
